Juliana & Ramons Creations

Creativity is endless for us....here is the result of our most recent pieces..

by Juliana Aragao

Dried leaves hand painted mounted on a canvas leaf-by-leaf. These pieces reflect our generation's return to nature by rejuvenating dried leaves into art. With a combination of abstract and bold colors the "Leaves" series expresses the colorful elements as in my Brazilian and Miamian culture: strong, vibrant and alive. Utilizing an organic mentality,  I wanted to highlight our environment's intrinsic beauty.

When seen in person, these real life pieces are three dimensional and considered an installation. I am starting to discover that options are endless with leaves....

Abstract is my current artistic vision, as leaves will continue to be the foundation of my following work. In the next sequence, I translated one of my dreams, with fascination by the color blue -  like the shades of the ocean - I continued to follow the pattern of the leaves.

Welcome to Jurarte's first bog! Let me first start by introducing ourselves...
My name is Juliana Aragao, creator and artist…and this is my new blog. I am a 24 year old Miami based artist, originaly  from Brazil!!! I received my Advertising & Graphic design degree from the University of Miami in 2010.
My business partner Ramon Aular, also known as "The Prince" is a 31 year old Venezuelan artist also a Miamian! He studied the arts in Venezuela and moved to Miami 10 years ago.
It has been 9 years since I got involved and started to produce….and just last summer, Ramon and I decided to join hands and open an Art Studio -"Jurarte". Here we would produce what we love the most, ART!  Today, after several great  months we couldn't be happier; coming to the studio @ Iron Side Miami and painting all day. We have been in heaven: surrounded by the smell of paint, the feel of the brush, texture of the canvas' and great  music! But most importantly, supporting each other and co- developing multiple projects.
We created this blog not only to share our work and art related news, but also to put out a piece of our lives (the drivers of our creation desires). We are opening this door to show you what we like, what we do and how its done. We hope to entertain you and teach you a little something everyday.

With Love,
Juliana & Ramon

P.S. Please, send us your suggestions, comments and recommendations. This is a dynamic environment that we hope to fuel with Art!
